When sharepoint sends the deadsite delete emails to users who own site its is not linking correctly on some Lotus Notes client installs.  The email is not consistant and appears un-friendly in the message body:  See example

Please follow the link below to your SharePoint Web site to confirm that it is still in use.

The problem is the link word wraps to a second line and breaks the link.

In other messages sent the same way they look like this and work as expected and work correctly:

Please follow the link below to your SharePoint Web site to confirm that it is still in use.

What could cause notes to view the messages differently from the same sharepoint server.  Useing notes client version 8.5.1 and 8.5.2 and 7

Look in the mail source, I assume it's an HTML mail. There should be an <A> tag, can you post the entire tag, up to and including the </A> tag?

Usually, Notes is pretty strictly following the HTML guidelines. If possible, you might replace the spaces in the href-parameter by %20 (e.g.using escape() ), in order to get
Or remove the spaces from the project name altogether.

On the other hand, if other HTML-based mails do arrive intact, there might be some bad tags in the code. You could check the source on it as well (open the mail, click View/Show/Source)
