Does the computer blue screen every time you boot up? Any new programs installed recently?
If the problem started occurring after a new program install then you could try booting up into safe mode and uninstalling the program. On boot-up hit the F8 key and select safe mode. If not then I would try doing a system restore to a point in time before this problem started occurring.

My solution was to start in OEM dvd and to copy ntdll.dll from the x:\Windows\system32\ to c:\Windows\system32.
