Configure WSUS for Terminal Server

I have a client who has a Terminal Server (2003) which I have just taken over support.

I have not done a lot with a TS before, so wanted to first ask about best practices for configuring WIndows Update via GPO so I can still manage via WSUS.

I do not want any notifications to be visible to any Users for reboot or updates available etc. but also not sure if I need to switch from Execute Mode to Install Mode.

If you disable "Allow non-administrators to receive update notifications" users wont get notified

you will find this helpful as well

    Thanks dstewartjr.

This setting is Disabled by default, so already in effect. I am assuming this does not include the Reboot Notification .... which is what a User inadvertently clicked on causing a reboot and kicking off all other Users = re-think of GPO policy settings.

Good explanation of the reboot behavior here

Your best bet would be to configure updates with either option 2 or 3, then only when a admin logs in they will get notified of updates to be installed.
