Finding out if a table is partitioned in mysql

Googling about it and searching EE didn't give me immediate answers, so I post the question - how do you know from within mysql prompt only if a MySQL table uses partitioning?  "desc table_name" doesn't give any more than the basic info.  Thanks.  The reason why via mysql prompt only is the database is on Amazon RDS so I don't have access to the filesystem and I don't want to have to install tools such as phpmyadmin on my ec2 instance just to that.  Thanks.
