Format in excel

Hi,

I have a big problem.
I have to export from a program a excel list.
I made the excel export from two diffrent computers. The first computer is exporting the list ok but the second one is putting date values instead of numbers.
(Please see the attachment!)

I think the excel options are diffrent. Please, can you  tell me what to chang in order to generate the same list.

Thank you,

The only one that I can think of within Excel is the Lotus transition settings.

Tools > Options > Transition tab > Two boxes at the bottom to determine how entries are made and evaluated.

Entry in Lotus will assume 11/5/2011 is a formula and will give 0.00109 whereas Excel will automaticall recognise it as a date. To force it as a formula needs to be =11/5/2011

Cheers

Hi
I think you should examine the regional settings in the Control Panel. There could be a difference in date formats that make Excel interpretation different.

Best regards,
Stellan
