Hello Experts
I have created few users on AD, their home folders are getting created to a default location, ie :d:\shared folders
I want to change this path and set to a new location on the server ex: F:\New Shared Folders
Please can someoen advise?

Instead of use home folders, I would set up folder redirection. Remove the home folder setting from the users and enable My Documents redirection to the old location. Wait until you are sure nearly everyone has logged on. Then change the redirection policy to the new location. The documents will automatically move.

Folder redirection is more transparent to the user (because the user saves to their "My Documents"). Folder redirection easiliy intergrates with offline files
Folder redirection is very easy to setup and manage

If you want more information (or specifics on settings), let me know.

Hi Jmoody10
Thanks for your input. I am only trying to set everyone on domain, they were not logging to domain logins earlier but now am I am making sure everyone is signing up on domain.
Please advise how can I set the new location for the default "my documents" folder.
Currently when I logon on XYZ user login, its creating the mydocuments location on the server
@ D:\Users

I want to change this so that they could start storing their my documents to F:\Shared Data

As I am running out of space on D:

Please advise.

I would recommend not setting "Grant Exclusive Rights". - You will see that section in the article.
