Excel Data Validation
I have an excel sheet that looks for a valid project code between 10 and 12 numbers long. This works great BUT a user has come back to me and noticed that if you ENTER the code wrong you have to navigate away from the cell before you can enter another code or else you get the SAME error.
I have put a error MESSAGE stating WARNING: YOU MUST CLEAR INCORRECT FIELD AND MOVE TO ANOTHER FIELD BEFORE ENTERING AGAIN. Is this really how data validation should work?

Tell him to hit the "Esc" key after getting the error message. This way he wont have to goto another cell and come back again.
