Showing multiple lines of status

I have to run 30 stored procedures for a process that the end users starts with a button.
I want to tell them when each one is done. I am currently using a list view box but the problem I am having is that once the first line is inserted the box goes white when you click off of it. Also by the time the 20th line is put into the list box every line afterwards can not be seen. Is there a better way of doing this?? or can some one explain a possiblity of how to use multithreading to make this work??
