cant get past login screen

i am using windows server 2008 iis7 (I am using either cgi or fastcgi)

I have a php login script
where after login taken to page2.php

I made some change ( I forget)

now using either php5.2.17 or php5.3.6, after login submit there is a blank screen with the url still at login.php

    Try using something like this design pattern:

    You might want to start displaying the errors, too.  It may tell you what was happening.
