Google Image Search API Max Result Size

Hello,

I'm trying to use the google rest api, http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/images?v=1.0&q=monkey&rsz=8 as described here,http://code.google.com/apis/imagesearch/v1/jsondevguide.htm.

It looks like 8 results is the max and that just doesn't seem sensible to me.  Am I missing something?  I'm able to append rsz=8 parameter but can't go any higher than 8 or the api returns an error response. Any ideas?

Yes

rsz : << This argument supplies an integer from 1–8 indicating the number of results to return per page. >>
start : << This argument supplies the start index of the first search result. Each successful response contains a cursor object (see below) which includes an array of pages. The start property for a page may be used as a valid value for this argument. >>

to go to page 2 : http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/images?v=1.0&q=monkey&rsz=8&start=1

So I have to hit the API 8 times in order to get 64 images, each time incrementing the start index?  Seems very strange that I can't just get this all in one request.

Google don't want to be down with requests...

And note you're limited between each queries...
