latitude d630 will not recognize sd card reader

title says it all
is there anything i can do?

You probably need the driver for O2Micro OZ77Cxx USB SmartCard Controller.  It is available for download from Dell support.  It is under the "Security" section.

You can have a look at the Device Manager to ensure all the drivers are installed correctly. Also some of the latitude machines comes with a Notebook System Software driver (http://support.dell.com -> under system utilities) as well. if you have recently reinstalled the OS, it might be worthwhile installing the chipset and Notebook system software.

Also as Johnny suggested, the device manager should show O2 Micro OZ711EZ1 MemoryCardBus Controller mentioned under PCMCIA Adapters.  Cardbus Driver Image

It just occurred to me that you might be referring to an external USB card reader.  Is this the case?
