How can I protect a sheet and leave the text box editable?

I have a protected sheet but I want people to be able to add comments to the page.
When I lock the sheet.   The text box is also locked even if the cells behind are unlocked.

I joined an example to make my explanations a little bit more clear.

    In 2003 there is an option to

    edit objects.

    there might be a similar option in the later versions which I cannot check now.

    not for points: confirming that ssaqibh's suggestion also still works with 2010. The dialog is the same and ticking "edit objects" near the bottom of the list of options will do the trick.
