With Microsoft DPM, does that mean we don't need other third party backups such as netbackup, etc...
 is DPM better than third party backup technologies?

    DPM is just another backup solution so if it fits your whishes is could replace a third party tool. It works a little different than some other backup products so make sure you know what it does and how it works.
