I am trying to redirect HTTP to HTTPS and have followed this article:

http://www.jppinto.com/2009/01/automatically-redirect-http-requests-to-https-on-iis-6/

However when i run IISRESET it resets the old 403;4 error back to its old value.
If i dont do an IISRESET i get HTTP 403 forbidden error.

Can someone help me to set this up correctly please? I didn't realise it would be this difficult to get an auto redirect setup!

does the re-direct work internally? If you followed the article above it should work, you just need to make the sure firewall allows port 80 and 443.

There is no firewall issue. I will try it internally
