printing from an ipad to an office printer through a citrix published app
is there any way to do that? basically we manage a health application that we publish through citrix or remote desktop. we have multiple practices connecting to this.
they want to use ipads cause citrix receiver on an ipad works really well for this.
only problem I can find is the lack of printing capability. how can I set up a printer on the ipad that will be usable through citrix to print to network printers?

I am not a Citrix expert, so I am thinking purely on VMWare View side. Can't you publish a printer to their profile in Citrix?

I'm not certain... I'm no citrix expert either... basically it was here before me and the only reason they got it was because the app vendor handed it to them with the servers and app. I'm certainly willing to try it if someone can point me in the right direction.

it looks like I need to create a port forward from our offsite servers to the printer in the local office. we are using a cisco asa 5505 and I'm pretty rusty on cisco so I'll probably open another question for help on that issue.

ok... port forwarding issue done... now I just need one of our ipad users to test it... the one I normally have available is home sick today.

tested it from my iphone... prints great!

oops... sorry robo... I meant to give that to Hutch since he essentially said the same thing but he said it first... is there a way for me to fix that?
