Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Error

I am getting the following errors when running my backups on my Windows 2003 SBS server
In the Error logs it has the following error:

Error E0008488
Access is denied. Security Errors
MSCSBSRV\BKUPEXEC - Access is denied

Any ideas on this?

Yes I have looked at this, only seems to relate to Exchange mailboxes which arent in the error!

can you post the full error details here?
Are you backing up exchange at all? and do you have some disabled users?

No users disabled. Yes we are backing up exchange 2003.

Yes backup has been working fine up until the last week!

From the look of it i would say it is exchange related. Are you doing GRT (mailbox) level backups?
A lot of issues around that error seem to be with the hotfixes that symantec released and if you follow that link in the error it goes on and on about it. You could try removing those hot fixes.
Also, is the backup account you are using mail enabled?

Was a database that was not connected. Tested out the credentials and it came up as access denied. Removed it from the selection and is now backing up fine!
