# How can we do in Excel 2007 a calculation with 2 percentage cell and return the correct result

We need to calculate various percentage cell and the result placed in a another percentage cell.

For example

A1 = 20%

A2 = 100-A1

The result returns 9980% instead of 80%

How can we do this?
(the cell is formatted as percentage)

Put a percent sign after the 100

A1 = 20%

A2 = 100%-A1
