Try UltraVNC which can be downloaded from

http://www.uvnc.com/

You may have to set up your Linux machine to accept connections. You can find instruxtions on that at

i suggest NX, because it needs lower bandwidth while providing great quality for remote desktop.

IT also runs on a webinterface and much more! and best part is probably that is easy to install.

http://www.nomachine.com/download.php

i prefer nx than VNC. If you wonder about security, both vnc and nx can run on ssh.

You can either configure VNC or XRDP on Linux to get GUI access of your Linux box.

For VNC:

For XRDP:

You shouldn't need to install anything on the Linux box, just configure it to accept connections. That is provided it has the necessary packages installed. UltraVNC only needs to be installed on your Windows machine.
