Difference between DSL and Fibre SDH Line symetric

Hi,

I made a DSL Speedtest in the belive of having a DSL Line. But somebody told me that
we have a Fibre SDH Line symetric and I could not compare it with a normal SDSL line and
with the result I would get.

Is he right?

Weird. You can have any kind of line in this world like DSL, ADSL, SDSL, Frame, L/L, AVPN, metro, how does it matter???

If you purchase a 2meg line, it does not matter whether it's AVPN or SDSL. You will get whatever your ISP has committed based on what you purchased.

Please speak with your ISP as to what speed you can expect and then go to www.speedtest.net to verify it. There might be a speed difference of 10-20% depending on peak and off peak hours.

Best,
