This windows 2008 server is setup in a virtual environment and when I do a winver from the command line, it gives me Windows server 2008 Enterprise but it has IIS 6 loaded. &nbsp;Confusing to me.

It must be IIS 6.0 compatibility management tools not IIS 6.0 services. You can cross check from the role management -&gt; features of IIS role.<br />

It should be only IIS 6.0 component manager. If you open IIS 6.0 manager and provide a screen shot i can assure you regarding the same.<br />
