When I try and join a Windows 7 Pro system to a Small Business Server 2008 R2 domain using the <a href="http://connect" rel="ugc">http://connect</a>&nbsp;I only get so far before it says that &quot;The system does not meet the maximum operating system requirements for running client setup&quot; &nbsp; CRAZY.<br />

I think this is known problem but I need a very quick fix for the <a href="http://connect" rel="ugc">http://connect</a>&nbsp;glych. Has anyone got one. <br />

Or, has anyone get a safe sequence (DNS issues etc) for doing it manually. Thanks,

Windows 7 Pro joining an SBS 2008 R2 domain

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).

Windows 7 is an operating system from Microsoft. Features include multi-touch support, a redesigned Windows Shell with a new taskbar, referred to as the Superbar, a home networking system called HomeGroup, and performance improvements.
