I downloaded a free software from Miscrosoft labs call StickSorter.  It is perfect for a project I'm working on.
it is an .msi file.  I get this message:
"This installation package could not be opened.  Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
download site: http://www.officelabs.com/projects/stickysorter/Pages/default.aspx
I can't access the comments section of the page so can't ask Msft.

thanks for any guidance.

Did you try re-downloading the .msi file? I downloaded and installed successfully.

What OS are you on?
