Exchange Server seems to be changing message uidvalidity

I hope someone can help with this matter, The problem I am having is that i have a few users accessing email from the exchange server using BIS.

They are setup through imap... The problem is they keep getting duplicate emails only on the blackberry. Webmail does not have any duplicates and outlook client has no duplicates.

I read about the REFID message id changing on he server which makes the blackberry see the emails as a new email and so creates duplicates on the BB.

My question is how can i stop the exchange server from changing these message id's or uidvalidity from changing. I am not sure if i understand this whole process correctly but if there is a way to change a setting on exchange that will not allow for this ID's to change This is what I would like to do.

Yea I seen that site before, unfortunately the problem i am having cannot be corrected the way mentioned on those sites. when i setup the bb with owa no emails show up on his blackberry at all...

So I am back to square one... Thanks.

The answer I am looking for is, Is there a way to stop the server from changing message ID's on?

If anyone can help out with finding a solution to this problem on the server. it would be appreciated. 500 points for anyone who can give me an answer that helps resolve this problem.
