Batch File: MySQL Database Backup (mysqldump.exe)

Hi there,

I need to modify this batch file command line to backup MySQL database running on a remote Linux server at address 192.168.1.10:3306

mysqldump.exe -u%mysqluser% -p%mysqlpassword% --opt --databases %mysqldatabasename% > %localdir%\%backupfilename%

EXTRA QUESTION:
Will the modification you propose to my command line can be applied as is to a "mysqlcheck.exe" command line?

PS: it works on local database.

Thanks for your help,
Rene

I feel that the information in my question was misleading.

Finally, "--command" was required in the batch file.

So "--host remote.host" was the answer.

Your answer provided me a clue helping me to find the solution.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Rene
