Crystal Reports How do you use the select expert to have it return records where a DateField is Null?

The is equal to does not accept NULL. Can someone tell me how I can set it so that no records with a CompletionDate are returned?

Thank you!

Try using IsNull

Null is the absence of a value thus comparing to Null doesn't mean anything since there is nothing to compare.

IsNull({CompletionDateField})

mlmcc is correct - Basically, you open up the select expert, click Show Formula, Then click the formula editor, and add in the text isnull({CompletionDateField})
