    Hi Roybridge,

I think you misunderstood my issue. My issue that I cannot find "format" command in my diskpart verison. I would like to know if there are any issues OR missing OR out updating in my diskpart version. If yes, please give me the download link.

Maybe that version did not have it.  Try the format command instead.

I tried to use format and Disk Management. But both of them failed.

Don't think you'll find a format command in the 2003 version of diskpart, see for example - create the partition using diskpart then format it using format.exe or windows disk management.

Try the clean command in diskpart.

    Dear All,

Finally, the problem was found and due to HP Array Configuration Utility (Windows version). I used a smart start DVD (from HP) and do the Array Configuration from boot up. It's done without any "format" issue.
