We open lots of sql 2000 views using excel 2003 office on our network. However on a couple of users they get the error<br />

The conversion of a char datatype to a datetime data type resulted in an out of range value<br />

they strange thing is on this specific user I logged in as admin and it returned the query in excel but then logged in as the user and got the above error!!!! didnt expect that.<br />

I've just tried to open the spreadsheet on my laptop as well and excel installed the odbc driver and I get the error too.<br />
