Jmeter

Hi Guys,

I have this : aggregate_report_bandwidth and average_bytes column in my JMeter Summary Report.

Can you explain what does it mean?

Is "bandwidth" means the network speed (KB/s)?

And what is average bytes? Is it means that the request size sent?

Seems too be tough question.
There are some article where they talk about bandwidth versus aggreagte bandwidth, but I could not find
the definition of aggregate banswidth, othe than this one, which frankly does not seem to be very clear to me:
Aggregate bandwidth is the maximum number of raw bytes network can transfer per time unity no matter between which nodes
This is description of allfields in Summary reposrt
http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Summary_Report
It states that
Avg. Bytes - average size of the sample response in bytes. (in JMeter 2.2 it wrongly showed the value in kB)
but I could not find explanation abourt
aggregate_report_bandwidth

Aggregate bandwidth is probably something from different though related area
In Aggregate Report description though there is such paremater and Throughput on kb/sec
http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#Aggregate_Report

Kb/sec - The throughput measured in Kilobytes per second

Perhpas this one is related to aggregate_report_bandwidth
