mailbox remains full, even when the quota are increased

One of our mailboxes gives a notification that it's full when you try to send messages to it.
I increased the mailbox' quota, but for some reasons the mailbox remains full (we still get notifications that new messages can't be delivered to that mailbox).
What am I doing wrong?

Please uncheck or increase  the "prohibit send receive at (KB) 870400 and then try to send the mails again.
