We run a RAID 5 with 4 HDs und net capacity of 1.2 TB on Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2. As controller we use a 3ware 9500S-12. Firmware version is 2.06.00.009 FE9X. Windows Driver Version is 3.0.2.90<br />
Unfortunately, copying large files is extremely slow and even break away. Read Operations are quit fast. Write cache is turned off, because the controller has no backup battery.<br />
Are any already known causes responsible for this issue?<br />
Or we need to do a firmware update?<br />
