I am trying to find a way to send data to a PDA from a PC where I am using Microsoft Active Sync for the connection.  I need to send it through a command prompt and not through the explorer of active Sync.

You would use copy command in command prompt.Should look like this:
copy c:\documents and settings\pda f:\drive of pda (this is example).
Or just let us know what it is your trying to copy then we can show you exactly the way to type it.

One of the problems is that it doesn't show as a 'd' drive or and drive for that matter.  It shows as 'Mobile Device'.  When I look at the properties for the drive it shows '\My Documents'.  Therefore, I have tried the following:

    copy c:\test.txt \\My Device\test.txt

It tells me it cannot find the server.

    Any idea?

    Assisted Solution

You may want to give this a shot,

You need to copy the files to the memory card of the phone.
Are you trying to copy files that you can exacute on the phone? If you are it may have to be unlocked.
