Hi,

1) I have a Dell Laptop (Dell latitude E 6400; Windows XP)
2) when we set laptop to sleep; it will not wake up without having to power it down
3) I search the solution in google that it will solve the problem if we "roll back" the driver for creative webcam (This driver was updated per windows update).
4) Note: Whereas this laptop does not have the webcam or any kind of camera
5) Any help?
6) Thank you

tjie

Check and see if there is an update available for your Laptop's BIOS and that you're running the most recent chipset drivers (most likely the Intel chipset driver package from intel.com would be perfect.)

I just notice that "Whereas this laptop does not have the webcam or any kind of camera" <- does windows update installed a webcam driver?

Did you try the Video Driver?

Please disable wakeup via LAN.
Context Menu of [My Computer], [Mange], [Device Manger], Network Adapter, Context Menu, [Properties], switch Power Managerment Page, uncheck all box.

I miss your point of no webcam. so, "why should have to download "the latest integrated webcam driver?" <- no need to do so.

Are you xp patched with sp3?

Have you enabled hibernate?

Reasons for asking you the above question is in the link below.
