how to run a single jsp file on the server

I had a huge web application deployed on the tomcat server. i had modified couple of jsp pages and now how to view or run particular jsp/java files.

my application is in linux environment.  and i am using eclipse IDE

you should be able to run that page from eclipse...just that page...you just want to see how it compiles right?

just right cilck on the jsp and select  run as server

the problem is like the eclipse is on my windows machine

but i was accessing the server remotely which is on the linux environment.

because of that i dont see any "run" on the right click

if i want to run the application i use this in the browser

http://username-linux.example.com
