Exchange 2010 Export Mailbox from a Recovery Database
Is there a way to export mailboxes from a recovry database in Exchange 2010 SP1 to a PST file?
I know you can use New-MailboxExportRequest to export a mailbox from a live information store. Is there a way to specify the recovery store?

no because the store needs to be mounted.

You can mount the Recovery store in Exchange 2010.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
yes if you can mount the recovery store, then just continue with the export using the cmdlet ??

I'm trying to restore mailboxes for a litigation case. I don't want to merge them with existing mailboxes. Didn't exmerge go away with Exchange 2010?
They really need to make it a little easier to work with restored mail stores.
I guess I am going to have to create dummy mailboxes to merge the restored ones into and then export to PST files. Certainly would be easier to export straight from the recovered DB.

We use netbackup to do backups and restores. I can restore individual mailboxes, but I restore them to a recovery database so that a user doesn't have their existing one overwritten or two live mailboxes.
