Outlook 2007

I am having users complain that when opening up Outlook 2007 they keep getting a pop up box asking for their password to get their email.  What could be causing this?

How would I check if I am fully patched with Exchange SP3 and yes I am running SBS2008?
Open EMS and issue the command "get-exchangeserver"

It'll tell you your version number and build number.

With that said, if you don't have documentation on what you've installed and patched on your server, you have a significant hole in your disaster recovery plan that can seriously bite you in the future if you find yourself needing to restore a system or replicate its environment. You should *know* whether SP3 has been installed, either because you have a software inventory or because you have a log with a note indicating when you installed it (preferrably both).

Hope that helps,

Version 8.1.

Yes you are correct, I am the desktop guy and the server guy is not here as this is a fresh install.
Well, if you aren't the server guy, I can't recommend you patch the system, but you are definitely not up-to-date. Suffice it to say though, the system should be backed up and then brought up to date with all patches and service packs. If you are behind on Exchange, there is a good chance you are behind on everything.

The sytem is patched with all Server 2008 updates.  Would that make a diffrence?
ok thanks for your assistance.  I'll let the server admin take over from here then.
System was patched with latest exchange updates and this fixed issue.  According to our server admin.
