Changing Exchange primary SMTP addresses

Ok all, i have an exchange server with 500 users. All have the same formulaic email address (user@domain.com). What i'm wanting is to add a new approved domain, and then switch everyone to this new domain as the primary SMTP email fro everyone. So, my question is, is there a way to script or automate changing every mailboxes primary smtp address to user@domain2.com? Otherwise, is my only option to go into the properties of every single mailbox, add the new email address, and then click to make it primary? (times 500)
Any help is appreciated.
