macro conversion/emulator from Office/Word 2000 to Office/Word 2010

We have migrated to Office 2010 from Office 2000.  We had a lot of macros written in Word 2000. Is there a conversion utility that takes them from 2000 to 2010? An emulator?

In general macros will still work, with the specific exception of anything regarding toolbars.

Thanks.  I take it you have done this.  Is it not a different version of Visual Basic?

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.
