citrix program neighborhood finding old server and not new server

When trying to add a new application set in the citrix program neighborhood, it finds the old server, even when I type the ip address of the new server with xenapp 6.0 installed on it in the server location popup. What am I missing? I tried to type the name in instead of finding the farm and it gives me an error saying the information on the farm is out of date.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but Program Neighborhood has been unsupported since 10.x.  Are you using Program Neighborhood or PNAgent (which might have a new name now)?  Do you have a Web Interface and if so do the same results show there?
The Program Neighborhood client does now support XenApp 6 - what you are seeing is entirely expected.  Sorry to have to tell you this, but you need to use the new online plugin - so what was called the Agent or the Web Interface.

We had to upgrade all 8000 clients because of this when we moved to XenApp 6, though it was worth the pain as it made the move to the new farm easier, since the Agent and Web Interface both display apps from both farms alongside each other.

If the client version is 11.1 or higher you know it will work with XenApp 6 as 11.0 was the last version to ship with the Program Neighborhood.  I would use 12.1, its pretty stable and some functionality of XenApp 6 (dynamic printer mappings!) only works with 12.1.  Just don't use 12.0, its buggy.

I've downloaded 12.1 and I get a error when every I try to connect now. "Citrix online plug-in could not connect the server entered." I can ping and telnet to the server.

Are you pointing the Online Plugin to a PNAgent site on your Web Inteface?
