I have exchange server 2007 on the win2008 server.

i installed exchange 2007 server with mydomain.lan not a .com.

how can i configure exchange that sends mail outside?

Well you have to have a few things going for your self.

A MX record of who you are.
A Forward Lookup Zone of your .com domain
Under Org Config/Hub Transport in your exchange management console you have a tab accepted domains. Place your
Another tab in the same spot a send connector needs to be in place.
Under Server Config/Hub Transport you need to have a receive connector

Just create send connector and select to send mails using DNS.

If you also want to receive the e-mails from outside then yes MX record is required.
