I am able to connect to VPN on my iPhone but cant ping, RDC, anything networked

I have an iPhone 4.3.3 and trying to connect to my work via VPN (IPSec). I am able to connect no problem but once i am connected i can't ping anything. Do I need to do something on my VPN Conncentrator? VPN works on my laptop using Cisco VPN Client.

if you are using split tunnel option i think you might have to look at this option.

Are you getting an address from a different pool?  Check your NAT (and no-NAT) settings and make sure devices know where the VPN pool is located.

whats the model of your VPN Conncentrator.
if you have GUI in your vpn box, than this should be in Advance settings. are you using GPRS or wireless to connect VPN ? if GPRS than you may need to check ISP settings

you can also try removing ISP DNS setting from your iPhone.

@ Syed_M_Usman - I am using a VPN 3000 Concentrator and on the admin GUI page and cant seem to find "advance settings" however see the following selections:

Interfaces -- Ethernet interfaces, and power supplies.
System -- system-wide parameters: servers, address assignment, tunneling protocols, IP routing, management protocols, events, and identification.
User Management -- groups and users.
Policy Management -- access hours, network lists, rules, security associations, filters, and NAT.
Tunneling and Security -- PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, SSH, SSL, and WebVPN.

My iphone is on AT&T and when trying to VPN i am using 3G.

I am not sure how to remove ISP DNS settings from my iPhone 4.

@jmeggers - I hope i am answering your question correctly: under "Address Management > Pools" I have only one pool and it's 10.10.10.1 - 10.10.10.254/255.255.255.0

When i connect my iphone to vpn i get a 10.10.10.x right now its .3.

I am using an app called 2xClient to RDC into windows boxes but doesnt work. I also tried an app called Ping and cant ping any of those boxes.

If i am on the wifi at work without vpn both apps work. I am able to ping and RDC.

@ madhan77 - using different apps from the App Store. Haven't tried pinging the concentrator itself... trying now... Doesnt resolve the host name to IP and when i ping the IP I dont get a response.

Googled it and found a blog that put me in the right direction to solve the problem myself.

VPN

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely. VPNs encapsulate data transfers using secure cryptographic methods and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.
