You may have tried the NDMP agent previously as a trial. I have seen that once NDMP agent is installed regular windows based back up of shares doesn't work correctly. &nbsp;I was able to uinstall the NDMP agent, reboot media server and give it a go. &nbsp;Delete any NDMP Servers that you may have created.

Backup CIFS data with BackupExec 12.5d from NetApp (or Buffalo NAS)
