Sorry to hear about your bad experience...Just let that be an expensive lesson to learn.
There are so many scams online that you need to be very careful when paying for goods/services or when investing on one of those 'earn-money-doing nothing' or 'get-rich-quick' schemes.

You can file a consumer report or file a report at BBB but it won't give you your money back. It's just one of those costly life's lessons that happened to some of us unfortunately.

OR:
You could write articles about your experience and publish it all over the internet to warn other people not to fall into the same trap.

Make it a habit of doing a LOT of research before investing or paying for online services. Be aware the if it sounds too good, it probably is a scam.

When talking about online investing, IF it sounds too good to be true, it definitely is.

Wish you luck in future...

Hello,

You are absolutely right slapping me on my wrist. The comment I made was not correct.
The only excuse I have, is that I have very recently been in a similar situation, which made me give this spontaneous reaction.
I will certainly not respond like that in the future. Experts Exchange is too big a treasure in the internet world and  must be honored for that.
All responses I put on the site have been and will be in the future, only to help people improve there knowledge of IT, with the unfortunate exception of the one you are referring to.

Please accept my apologies.

Regards,  Jan Meijer
