Barracuda spam firewall mail delay

Hi all,  I am having a heck of a problem with a client and need some suggestions.  Client is running Exchange 2003 SP 2, single domain.  Mail is filtered through a Barracuda Spam and Virus Firewall version 100.  This past week we started to see one or two day delivery delays for any mail coming in from outside of the network.  The delay is clearly (from headers) on the Barracuda appliance.  No changes have been made, the delay just started happening seemingly out of nowhere.

I have updated the firmware and all definitions files, no change.  Also have rebooted to no avail.  This is my first experience with the Barracuda device, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the responses. Turned out to be bad hardware. Replace barracuda and all is fine.
