I'm used to the search features in Windows XP.  In Windows 7, how could I search for *.tif on the J: drive?

Just type *.tif in de right upper corner of the Explorer window when your J: drive is selected. This will take some time as I presume that your J: drive is not indexed by Windows Search.

Hi hrolsons,

Browse to the J: drive and type "*.tif" in the top right folder as you would in the search engine box of a web browser. Windows 7 should start searching  within whatever folder you are in at the time
