Skype headset for Ubuntu on Acer Aspire One AOD255E-13639

Hello Experts.

I am going to buy
Acer Aspire One AOD255E-13639

Which Skype headset for Ubuntu is the best for this PC. (if any)?

Additionally, it would be desirable that toggle button on headset will answer/hang up the Skype call also.

Thank you.

SInce this is hardware, any skyp headset should work if using 3.5 mm plugs. If you are using USB only, then you will need to use one that is recognized by your version of ubuntu.

I hope this helps !

Thank you for reply, SysExpert.

Sorry, I am new in the field and not aware about working wireless USB head set for Ubuntu.

I saw only problems yet:

I heard only some rumors about plantronix CS60-USB, but not sure will it work.

but is there any cheaper than half a price of the notebook?

Thank you.

Thank you.

This is not exactly the headset mount which I am looking for, but this is my fault of my inaccurate question.

Of course,  I am looking for one-ear mount. Second ear should be free in telephoning scenario.

I thought that all wireless headsets connect to bluetooth ...

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than the latter, there is often no longer any difference. Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, such as at work, in education, and for personal multimedia. A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs and capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard, and pointing devices (such as a touchpad or trackpad) into a single unit. The device can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or by mains electricity from an AC adapter.
