Zend Studio 8.0 debug does not step through code after Evaluation Period Over

My evaluation period was over the other day. I picked up my development this morning and when I would step through, the Variables window would show the values and then when the page loaded, the variables would disappear.

I thought this might be that after the evaluation period, this feature was no longer available so I forked over the $300. I then restarted and now Zend Studio doesn't even step through the code.

That first page, customer.php is a launch page that only has the following:

So after doing Alt-Shift-D then W like before (or doing it through the drop-downs, it runs right to the page and the URL is now:


The form loads with just:
To start, click here.

Then, when I click the linked "here", it just runs and loads the page with the URL:

There is no debug/session info (I can't remember if this was there before when it worked correctly).

Is this due to the evaluation expiration, the purchase, or common behavior? I rebooted and tried to repair the install  to no avail.  Nothing else changed configuration-wise before it headed south.  I would prefer not to have to do an uninstall/reinstall since it took me awhile to work through issues with the first install.

Please HELP!! I really need to step through my code and I am on a VERY tight deadline.

Not as urgent right now as I installed on another server.

It looks like I may have to do a fresh install.  I tried an uninstall and install but there must be some saved configuration information that is saved on the uninstall. When time permits (after my deadline), I'll need to perform a fresh install (probably in a different directory).
Email response from Zend:  - Haven't had time to test this out - will try this out in the next couple of days.

I suspect that the internal files responsible for this operation are damaged or missing.
Unfortunately I cannot identify the specific ones.

Please follow these steps:
1. Go to Help | Install New Software.
2. In the dialog that opens paste the following URL into the "Work with" field: http://beta.zend.com/studio-eclipse/updates/8_0
3. Press Enter and wait for the list to populate.
4. Select all list items and click Next.
5. Follow the wizard's instructions to complete the installation. At the end, Zend Studio needs to be restarted.
6. Reset the workspace in order to use the new environment as described in this Knowledge Base article: http://kb.zend.com/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=324

Note: you can always switch back to your original workspace.
