ASKER

will do
also i get an error that says "the network connections folder was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine , pleasemake sure the network connections service is enabeled and running "
Do you have multiple NIC on the server, If yes, Disable all others and change the binding order of the network card..It should be current one on top.
Network Connections>>Advanced>>Advanced settings>>Bring up the current network adaptor on top. Reboot required for talking effect.

Also start>>run>>services.msc>>make sure that the network connection service, server service has started, Also disable the windows firewall and check the issue and let me know your findings.

rad there is alot of stuff on here   what are you looking for?? it has no network connection
well   i cant go into network connections   it has no adapters in it
Have you checked whether its configured with static IP, Have you checked the network cable? Have you tried to insall the network driver once again.

Whats the output when you ran netdiag /fix?

What you are getting while typing ipconfig /all
Are you able to ping any other machines on the network?
GO to run>services.msc and check network connetion services are running or stoped.
Since there are no adapters listed, you should reinstall the NIC drivers, or check the device manager.

Also in general, it is NOT recommended that an exchange server be a DC.

I hope this helps !
Please give us an IDEA of what adapters you planned on having, and why RRAS was enabled?
