I have copied a users profile in vista with the copy to command found by going to Computer -> right click properties -> Advanced System Settings -> user profile -> settings -> copy to.

This seems to be successful because when a user logs into their profile it is now roaming. Now I want to make a mandatory roaming profile so I should simply change ntuser.dat to The problem is I cannot find ntuser.dat, only ntuser.dat.LOG and ntuser.ini.

Why do I not have any ntuser.dat files? I have also done a search and only ntuser.dat.LOG and ntuser.ini are found.
