Is it possible to change a read only file in Open Office Org to writable?

Although, I am not regular user of open office, from this link http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=79186

"There is a button on the OOo toolbar between the E-mail and PDF buttons that allows you to open and edit a copy of a read-only document. This button look like a piece of paper with a pencil on it. It also changes an editable document to a read-only document."

Also, if this file is on your computer, close the file. Right click file > Properties and uncheck readonly checkbox if it is checked.
