wmiprvse.exe 2008 r2 domain contoller using excessive CPU

I read many articles on this issue but it only seems to apply to older versions of windows.    The CPU is constantly at 10 to 30 percent from this service.
Windows Server 2008

Is the server running as an R2 Print Server? WMIprvse runs higher than normal CPU usage on Printer Servers.
I don't have a link to support handy, but i have seen it a number of times personally
